PREP GOLF: Higbee paces Hawks to third place finish

POST FALLS — Lakeland’s Monica Higbee shot a 93 in Wednesday’s Central Valley Invitational, pacing the Hawks to a third place finish at The Links.

“I was really happy with the play of all the girls,” Lakeland coach Mario Maddy said. “There was some great competition from the GSL (Greater Spokane League).”

Kenzie Roth carded a 95, Madeline Neff 106 and Bryanna Maddy a 136 for Lakeland.

Megan Billeter was girls medalist for Mt. Spokane, which won the girls team title.

Lakeland competes in the Moscow Invitational on April 5 at the University of Idaho Golf Course.
