Portion of Northwest Boulevard to be closed Sunday and Monday

COEUR d'ALENE — Contractors for the city of Coeur d'Alene will be closing a portion of Northwest Boulevard from 4 p.m. Sunday to 5 p.m. Monday.

Northwest will be closed between Garden Avenue and the Four Corners intersection — Government Way, Mullan Road, Sherman Avenue and Northwest — as workers replace the city's deteriorated public sewer main.

Detour routes will be provided, which may influence daily commuting times. Drivers can expect traffic delays.
