Newly formed branch presidency

Robert A. Davis, of Coeur d’Alene, was recently called as the new Branch President of the Coeur d’Alene Young Single Adult Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Linda, are the parents of 10 children and 29 grandchildren and have lived in the area for the past 17 years. Bob is originally from California, where he was raised, and graduated from Robert A. Millikan High School in Long Beach. He attended Brigham Young University where he played four years of division one basketball. President Davis, Linda and their son, Tim served in the Church Education System (CES) in the Spokane Mission from 2008-2010. He served as a Special Agent and a Supervisory Special Agent during his 35-year career with the FBI and currently is the owner of Professional Investigators International (Pii) of Liberty Lake, Wash.

President Davis’ First Counselor is Steve Griffitts, of Hayden. He and his wife, Marilyn, are the parents of four children and 12 grandchildren. Steve was raised in Coeur d’Alene and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1973. He attended Brigham Young University where he graduated in 1979. He served a two-year mission to the Belgium Brussels Mission. Steve is the former president of Jobs Plus, he is currently vice president of Mountain West Bank and is serving as mayor of the city of Hayden.

Todd M. Hardy is Second Counselor. He is originally from Perry, N.Y., where he was raised. He graduated from Chester Senior High School, in Chester, S.C., and later from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He and his wife, Marietta, have two children and have lived in the area for the past 22 years. He served a two-year mission to the West Indies Mission and then received his master’s degree in education from the University of Idaho. Todd is vice president of Content Production, employed by Bellow Press.

The Branch Executive Secretary is Tim Davis and the Branch Clerk is Ken Graul. The YSA Branch includes young adults age 18-30 from Sandpoint to Moscow. They are a congregation of about 80 young men and women who meet each Sunday at 1 p.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 2150 E. 16th St. in Post Falls. Family Home Evening is every Monday night at 7 p.m. at the LDS Chapel at 2801 N. Fourth St. in Coeur d’Alene.
