| March 11, 2016 8:00 PM

Attention students: Are you creative? Do you have a passion for art?

The 34th Annual United Way of Kootenai County Spring Dash, sponsored by Kootenai Health, Bank of America and The Coeur d'Alene Press, will take place April 17.

Creative students in the community are invited to put their artistic skills to the test and enter the 2016 Spring Dash T-shirt Contest. The design winner will receive a $100 cash prize, recognition in The Press and the opportunity to work with the T-shirt company to see the process from start to finished product. The winning design will be printed on more than 1,000 T-shirts and distributed to all Spring Dash participants.

Original work must be submitted to United Way of Kootenai County, 501 E. Lakeside Ave., Ste.3, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Colors are highly encouraged and designs may be in any medium but must include the following: tulips, the words "Spring Dash" and "34th Annual."

Entries must be delivered or postmarked on or before March 24. Please include your name, address, and phone number on the back of your entry. The Spring Dash planning committee will have full rights to the winning entry. All other entries may be returned upon request.

Race registration is now open. All proceeds from Spring Dash 2016 help United Way of Kootenai County advance the education, financial stability and health of people in our community.
