Kathy Driscoll, 67

| March 8, 2016 8:00 PM

Kathy Driscoll passed away at Hospice House on March 4, 2016, peacefully with family by her side. Kathy was born April 11, 1948, to Don and Evelyn Craig in Syracuse, Neb.

Here she grew up and attended the Syracuse School District. She was the head Majorette at Syracuse-Dunbar High school where she graduated in 1966. While in high school, Kathy flew all over the U.S. teaching baton twirling. Kathy received her degree in chemical dependency from National University in 1992. Here she met her beloved husband, Bob Driscoll. They were married on July 4, 1990. The two of them enjoyed each other’s company and loved road trips, never afraid to explore the unknown and take the unbeaten path.

After graduating high school, Kathy discovered her talent as a hair dresser. She enjoyed this profession for many years until she decided to attend National University in Palm Springs. She received her degree and became Campus Director for several years prior to relocating to Oregon and then Idaho in 1993.

Kathy was a creation artist. She had a passion for designing and creating. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, scrapbooking, all things arts and crafts. She made all of her gifts for friends and family with love and care. Her excitement for preparing and decorating her home for all holidays was a joy to be a part of. Kathy loved to create her and Bob’s prize winning Halloween costumes, always coming in first place. She loved spending her days with her adored dog, Stella, whom she loved to dress up and spoil rotten.

Kathy was a passionate wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Bob Driscoll; children Craig, Darby, Mark, Barbara and Angela; five granddaughters and eight grandsons; and her dog, Stella.

She had a beautiful heart and a vibrant spirit always eager to help those around her. She accomplished all things with enthusiasm and zeal. Her energy, love, smile and love for adventure will stay with us forever.
