Jim and Betty Grow

65th Anniversary

Jim and Betty Grow will be celebrating 65 years of marriage in the company of the family they created.

Married on March 11, 1951, in Boulder, Colo., they have lived most of their lives in Dalton Gardens, Idaho.

The result of their love and life together is a family who loves them back. They have three daughters and their spouses, Linda and Ron Simmons, Vicki and Earl Mills, and Lori and Gary Grossklaus. They have been blessed with seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. It has been a fine life.

ENGAGEMENT

Stephenson-Mitchell

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stephenson, of the Harrison Flats area, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brenda, to Mr. John Mitchell of Coeur d’Alene.

Ms. Stephenson graduated from Kootenai High School in 2003. She then attended Carroll College in Helena, Mont., earning her Bachelor of Arts in 2007, and completed her doctoral studies in physical therapy at the Mayo School of Health Sciences in Rochester, Minn., in 2011. She has been employed as the lead managing physical therapist at Ironwood Drive Physical Therapy in Coeur d’Alene since 2011. Her fiancé, John Mitchell, graduated from Post Falls Christian Academy in 2002 and is employed by Costco in Coeur d’Alene.

The couple is planning a June wedding.
