JAZZ: Well done, CHS Jazz Band

I would like to take this opportunity to commend the Coeur d’Alene High School Jazz Band, and their director, Jim Phillips, for a wonderful performance on the evening of Feb. 24. These high school musicians did an outstanding job on a variety of jazz favorites.

In addition to the high school performance an added treat was the Concert Jazz Orchestra from Eastern Washington University, which performed under the direction of Jenny Kellogg.

For many of us that attended we could have listened for another hour; to others not in attendance-you missed such great sounds and talent.
