Cecil Joseph Harmon, 72

Cecil Joseph Harmon, 72, died unexpectedly on a Caribbean Cruise on Feb. 23, 2016. Cecil was born in Springdale, Wash., on Feb. 16, 1944.

He was a steel building contractor for more than 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife, Judy; his son, Todd; his daughter, Jennifer (Patrick) Irwin; his sister, Patricia Sulgrove; his sister, Geraldine (Jack) Dvorak; his grandchildren, Ethan, Nathan and Emma; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Beloved by a countless number of friends and family, Cecil was known for his generosity and his caring nature. He loved his family, boating on Lake Coeur d’Alene and traveling.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, Wash.
