Spokane Expos 13

Northern Lakes 5

RATHDRUM — The Mountaineers fell to a club team from Spokane at Gorton Field.

“Kids played well,” Northern Lakes coach Al Bevacqua said. “(J.J.) Mackesy threw well, and the offense started to gain a little steam. Our defense needs to be a bit more consistent. We need to have a short memory, and keep gaining confidence.”

Northern Lakes plays host to Lewis-Clark today at 3 in a class AA North Idaho League doubleheader.
