CAMPERS: Here's a hidden jewel

Mica Bay Boaters Camp is a hidden jewel on Lake Coeur d’Alene. I am the Camp Host out here. This is our fourth year out here and every week I have someone tell me that they have been on the lake or in the area for years and hadn’t known about this beautiful place.

Well I’m here to tell you that tucked away at the south end of Mica Bay is one of the nicest campgrounds on the lake. We have 16 tent sites, two of them being handicap accessible, two vault toilets (I’ve been told are the cleanest on the lake) and a day use swim beach and picnic area (virtually free of goose crap). We are called a boater’s camp but do have a lot of walk ins. We are right across from the boat ramp and easy boating distance to everything.
