RELIGION: Where's the love?

Certain self-righteous, xenophobic ministers cannot tell the difference between gays and pedophiles. We can because we use Internet and TV as research tools and not as forums demanding deaths of people not conforming to Old Testament laws.

Spoiler alert: We are a secular nation living by the Bill of Rights, the U.S. Constitution and states’ laws.

Not by Sharia law.

Not by Jewish law.

Not by Mormon law.

Not by Catholic law.

Not by Southern Baptist law.

Religious leaders rejecting Christ’s message of love and tolerance and trying to change Christ into a genocidal, mass-murdering God is not unexpected. Many religions and mythologies have child murdering, women raping, mass killing Gods. From killing of Canaanite women, children and infants by Israelities to religious wars in Europe to warrior lion God of Narnia books — some people need a God allowing them to demonize, rob and kill other people.
