ABORTION: A troubling page

“Ironic” is the gentlest word that comes to mind. Given that the right to abortion is a major plank in the Democrats’ party platform; given the fierceness with which that party defends even the most savage of Planned Parenthood’s practices; given the euphemistic use of “health of the mother” and “women’s health issues” to protect the right to kill; given that protecting abortion is actually the single greatest rationale for Hillary’s continued support by Democrat women given all these things and many more, it was ironic to see the full-page spread in the June 11 Press. It was a “Fabulous Faces” display of the Kootenai Democratic Women’s Association enjoying their annual baby shower. Ironic, no?
