James Lee Tucker Sr., 81

James Lee Tucker Sr., 81, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on May 31, 2016.

James was born in Puxico, Mo., on Nov. 30, 1934, to Ernest Lee and Alma (Underwood) Tucker. The family moved to California when James was 2 ½ years old. He lived in California until April 1994 when he moved to North Idaho.

He retired in 1993 after 30 years of service as a construction laborer for the Northern California Laborers Union.

James loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his son, Jim Tucker Jr. of Coeur d’Alene; daughter Debra Ann Tucker of Monroe, Wash.; brother Jerry and wife Carol Tucker of Grants Pass, Ore.; sister Betty and husband Lou Stephens of Redding, Calif.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Alma Tucker; and daughter Vickie Lynn Tucker.

At his request, there will be no services. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d’Alene, is in charge of the arrangements.
