Community Thanks June 5, 2016

Coeur d’Alene Special Olympic Eagles would like to thank StateLine Speedway for allowing our team the opportunity to participate in the 50/50 raffle event on Wednesday, May 25. The team managed the raffle during Wednesday’s race, which in return the team earned 50 percent of the raffle sales of the night. This money will go toward travel and equipment expenses, as there is no fee for our athletes.

The participating athletes, proudly wearing their medals did an amazing job asking race fans to participate in the raffle, and handling the tickets. StateLine Speedway also gave the athletes and their accompanying family members FREE admittance to the event. StateLine Speedway also made a generous monetary donation to the Coeur d’Alene Eagles team!

Thanks StateLine Speedway, especially Dean Boever (General Manager) and Matt Alexander (Marketing Manager) for supporting our local program! Thanks to Jesse Christensen, Crystal Teeters, Emily Colgrove, Kirk Grogan, Jacob Watkins, Adina Watkins, and my son, Jim Kinnard for representing the Coeur d’Alene Eagles at this event! You are all amazing athletes and it’s so rewarding to see each of you out working in the community. Thanks to Kriss and Randy Teeters, Diana Colgrove, Dennis and LaDawn Brinkmann, and my husband, Jeff Kinnard for making this event so successful! Mark your calendars for June 22, we will do this all again!
