ST. MARIES — Toby Colburn blazed a trail for the Kellogg Wildcats, finishing with 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists as the Wildcats clipped the St. Maries Lumberjacks 54-52 in the Brawl for the Ball spirit game on Saturday night.

Lumberjacks junior guard Jake Sieler hit a 3-pointer with 13 seconds left cut the lead to 54-52,

St. Maries, the top-ranked team in this week’s state 2A prep boys basketball media poll, fouled a Kellogg player, who missed both ensuing free throws. With one second left, a Lumberjacks player drove the lane and got a shot off at the buzzer. But an offensive foul was called on St. Maries.
