POLICE: A true gift

Thank you Post Falls Press! In reference to your article on Dec. 17, “Officers handing out gift cards for those in need”: It is so refreshing to read about police officers doing good things. There has been so much bad press about police as of late. To all of you out there...police officers are human beings just like us. However, unlike most of us, they put their lives in jeopardy every day, on and off duty, to protect us and our community.

Again, thank you.
