POEM: It's Christmas Again

| December 25, 2016 8:00 PM

I want to see Christmas again, thru’ the eyes of a child

I’d love to feel Christmas again, with the heart of a child

I long to hear Christmas again, with the ears of a child

I want to know Christmas again, with the faith of a child

I want to believe, with the hope of a boy

It’s Christmas again, I want to feel joy…

The sun is gone, the wind blows chill

No stars tonight, my heart is still

The neon lights like desperate eyes

The best toys, the compromise

I want to share Christmas again, with friends and family

I want to have Christmas again, sing the songs round the tree

I want to live Christmas again, life as it’s meant to be

I want to give Christmas again, Peace that all men will see

I want to believe, with the hope of a boy

Yes it’s Christmas again, I want to share joy…

Ah-a ah- ah-a- ah a-ah- a-ley -lu-yah

Ah-a ah- ah-a- ah a-ah- a-ley -lu-yah

Ah-a ah- ah-a- ah a-ah- a-ley -lu-yah

Ah-a ah- ah-a- ah a-ah- a-ley -lu-yah

Son of God is born, the angels sing

The Magi bow to the newborn king

Mother Mary weeps, baby Jesu’ sleeps

Wrapped in swaddling clothes, the whole world knows!

That it’s Christmas again, it all began with this child

Yes it’s Christmas again, see His face meek and mild

Hallelujah! it’s Christmas again, see with eyes of a child

Hallelujah! It’s Christmas again, your heart like a child

Believe in Christmas again, with the faith of a child

Believe in Christmas again, with the hope of a child

Believe in Christmas again, with the love of Christ child…
