Dennis Thomas Considine, 84

Dennis Thomas Considine died Dec. 12, 2016, at Kootenai Hospital in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, at the age of 84. Dennis and his wife, Doloros, moved to Rathdrum, Idaho, with his son and family on Aug. 20, 2011, from Quitman, Ga.

Dennis attended school in Chicago, Ill. Dennis served in the Navy from 1951 to 1954. Dennis met his wife, Doloros Chilson, while in the Navy. They were married on July 19, 1952, in Washington, D.C. After the Navy, he worked at GMC on the line for 10 years. He had several other jobs ending driving his own semi.

He is survived by his wife, Doloros Considine; daughter Jeanne Spriggs and husband Russell; son Daniel Considine and wife Evelyn; brother Kennith and wife Linda of California; and sister Mary Wagner and husband Larry of Arizona. Dennis was predeceased by his son, Dennis Wayne Considine from cancer in 2008. Dennis has seven grandchildren — three in the area: daughter of Jeanne, Janelle Sordelet; son of Jeanne, Jared Bruns; daughter of Daniel, Leiguya Considine; and eight great-grandchildren.

Dennis was a mild loving father and grandfather, and always a good provider.
