REBUTTAL: Time to chime in

| December 21, 2016 8:00 PM

I decided not to write a response to Mr. Gressler’s letter in the Dec. 7 Press as trying to rationalize with idiots is generally unproductive. However, Shirley Plumlee did make the effort (Dec. 8 Press) and did an outstanding job.

The totally irrational thinking by many if not most Democrats defies belief. Sure, Trump is shaking up their playpen but after eight years of Democratic control with little to no improvement in the economy and the rise of unbelievable corruption it needs shaking up. Do I support every decision President-elect Trump makes? No. Will he make some mistakes? Yes. Will he be a good president? Yes, probably one of the best we have ever had. Should he stiff arm the national press and communicate directly with the voters? Yes.

The Democrats lost for many reasons of their own making and should realize that and shut up. It is sad that they blame everyone else except themselves for their loss but it illustrates their meager intellect.
