SNOWDEN: Feds are right

| December 11, 2016 8:00 PM

Having read Uyless Black’s last two articles about Edward Snowden, I would like to respond. I can understand your frustration with personal liberties and privacies being compromised. However, instead of asking “what would you do,” I would like to ask instead: What would you prefer: More 9-11s, more San Bernardinos, more Boston Marathon bombings, more nightclub slaughters like in Florida? Or let our government continue to do the job they have been doing? With their snooping and investigating they have prevented countless terrorist acts from happening.

As for someone who finds himself or herself in the military as both of us have been, one should ask themselves what they can do for their country, not what their country can do for them.

You are right; It is time for a reality check. The question is, what is the reality? By the way, France just copied us by nipping another attack in the bud and I’m sure other countries are doing the same.

What would you do?

P.S. If you are not doing something wrong, what do you have to worry about? Big Brother has been watching for a long time.
