The Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn has received the Best Western Chairman’s Award, the hotel chain’s highest honor for outstanding quality standards.

The Chairman’s Award recognizes Best Western International hotels with a cleanliness and maintenance inspection score of the top 5 percent of more than 2,100 North American properties.

Hotels must also meet Best Western’s requirements for design and high customer service scores to qualify for the award.

It’s the first time the Coeur d’Alene Inn has earned the award.

“Receiving the Chairman’s Award is a tremendous honor. This award demonstrates the Hagadone family’s commitment to first-class facilities and our staff’s commitment to providing quality accommodations and outstanding guest experiences,” said Coeur d’Alene Inn General Manager JJ Jaeger. “Our entire team, including our housekeeping and maintenance departments, has worked hard to achieve this level of excellence.”

Located at 506 W. Appleway Ave., the hotel features 122 rooms, an on-site restaurant and cocktail lounge, conference center, an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, and fitness center.

“This award is the result of a dedicated effort, hard work and our team working together to do a great job. We are all proud of our hotel and of our accomplishment,” said Darlene Mosher, executive housekeeper.
