| August 6, 2016 9:00 PM

Garrett Evans qualified on the pole for tonight’s super late model Idaho 200, posting a 13.055 time at the quarter mile track at Stateline Speedway on Friday evening.

Evans, the 2012 Idaho 200 winner, topped Spokane’s Joey Bird, Montanan Ryan Wells, and Braeden Havens and Blake Williams, both of Spokane.

Dave Garber of Spokane had the 10th quickest time, and Sagle’s Corey Allard qualified in the 13th position.

Tonight’s activities begin with Outlaw Compact qualifying at 6 p.m., opening ceremonies at 7, followed by Outlaw heat races and the 17th running of the Idaho 200. After 100 laps, the super late models will pit, and the Outlaws will run their 75-lap main event, before making way for the second half of the 200.
