| April 30, 2016 9:00 PM

In loving memory of Margarette Thomas, 87, of Rathdrum, Idaho. Born in Brownsville, Texas, on Feb. 7, 1929. She arrived in Heaven on April 22, 2016.

She is survived by her seven children, Florence Talk of Kingman, Ariz., Billye Miller of Athol, Idaho, Cindy Roberts of Rathdrum, James Phipps of Rathdrum, Ronald Phipps of Omaha, Neb., Donald Garrison of Rathdrum, and Tonya McGee of Chico, Calif.; 20 grandkids, 35 great-grandkids and six great-great-grandkids. She was preceded by her father, Samual K. Shaw and mother Bill Shaw; also by brother Sam Shaw and sister Iris Marie Shaw. She was loved by all.

Now, a few funny memories from her kids! Tucky-Mom got a boob job at the age of 40, had two blowouts and lived with one boob from the age of about 45.

Boopie — Threw five or six baby frogs on mom when she had a hysterectomy and got infection that almost killed her and could not move (until the frogs came) and made her jump up, broke up the infection and saved her life!

Cindy — Freddie Fender! Our family will understand this one! Ha, ha.

Junior — Got a motorcycle and mom was worried about him getting killed on it and he almost did when she came very close to running over him herself!

Ronnie — Left mom at the doctor’s office and stole her car (sorry mom). Ha, ha.

Donnie — Loved the time that she really did the “splits” on a banana peel.

Her favorite sport was swimming and favorite hobby — “Baby Frogs.”

We love you mama!

And the most important thing that we would all like to say is, to our youngest brother, Donnie. “Thank you for always being there for our precious mama all those years.” We all appreciate and love you dearly for that.

We love you mama and we will see you when we see you.
