Feel the love Sunday in Cd'A

A whole lot of love will be flowing Sunday in downtown Coeur d’Alene.

For the fourth consecutive year, the city will mark May 1 as “Choose Love Over Fear Day.”

Organized by area residents Kathleen Lamanna and Jackie Gedeik, “Choose Love Over Fear Day” is designed to increase positivity in the community while celebrating a message of universal love.

Mayor Steve Widmyer will read a proclamation at 2:15 p.m. in the Edminster Student Union Building on the North Idaho College campus. Afterward, NIC students will make themselves visible in support of the day’s message on downtown streets.

All are invited to collect a hug and help “pay it forward.”
