Boise State to play four

Friday games, one Thursday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Mountain West, in conjunction with its national television partners, released the league’s 2016 non-Saturday game schedule Monday.

Boise State is featured in five non-Saturday tilts, two of which — BYU and UNLV — were announced in March.

“Half of our home schedule has been announced, and we anticipate the other three games will also be played at night,” Boise State athletic director Curt Apsey said.

The complete list of non-Saturday games for Boise State follows, with each slated for a national broadcast on either ESPN, ESPN2 or CBS Sports Network:

Friday, Oct. 7 — at New Mexico (7 p.m.; CBS Sports Network)

Thursday, Oct. 20 — vs. BYU (8:15 p.m.; ESPN)

Friday, Nov. 4 — vs. San Jose State (8:15 p.m.; ESPN2)

Friday, Nov. 18 — vs. UNLV (7 or 7:30 p.m.; ESPN2)

Friday, Nov. 25 — at Air Force (1:30 p.m. CBS Sports Network)

The five regular-season non-Saturday games are one fewer than the Broncos played in 2015.

Broadcast details for Boise State’s remaining seven games will be announced in the near future.
