COEUR d’ALENE — Three young adults were injured in a 30-foot fall from the roof of a building on Sherman Avenue Saturday night.

Police said two young females and a male made their way onto the roof of 424 E. Sherman Ave., just one building west of Crickets Restaurant and Oyster Bar. The names of the adults have not been released due to a pending trespassing investigation.

“They sat at the edge of the building with their feet hanging over the front of the building,” according to police logs provided by Coeur d’Alene Police Detective Jared Reneau. “The decorative cap of the building they were sitting on gave way and all three of the young adults fell to the sidewalk, approximately a 30-foot fall.”

All three were transported to Kootenai Health via ambulance because of injuries. Police said the females were injured pretty severely, however, without their names The Press could not obtain a condition report from the hospital.

Reneau said police are investigating how the trio accessed the roof in an active trespassing investigation.
