William Jack Lambert, 24

William Jack (Billy-Jack) Lambert, 24, passed away suddenly on April 10, 2016, in Virginia Beach, Va., where he was serving as a Navy Hospital Corpsman at Boone Branch Health Clinic. Billy-Jack was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on July 26, 1991, to Bill and Michele Lambert.

He grew up in Hayden, Idaho, and graduated from North Idaho Christian School. He joined the Navy on Nov. 10, 2010, and achieved the rank of E4/HM3.

Billy-Jack was full of life and laughter and loved spending time with family and friends. His love of history and his genuine care and concern for others lead him to become a corpsman in the Navy.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Charles Lambert Jr. He is survived by his mother, Michele Lambert; brother Eric Lambert; sisters Jessica and Jamie Lambert; sister-in-law Carrie Lambert; Korean brother Myung Jae Yoo; nephews Caleb, Ezekiel and Isaiah; and nieces Chloe and Tommi.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2016, at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel, 373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden, with a reception following. The burial with full military honors will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Road, Medical Lake, Wash.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sovereign Grace Bible Church, 171 E. Hayden Ave, Hayden, ID 83835.
