POST FALLS — Drew Harris shot an 18-hole score of 73, one over par, just edging Post Falls teammates Cameron Flores and Tanner Byers, who each shot a 74 at the Genesis Prep Invitational on Wednesday at The Links Golf Course.

The Trojans won the 13-team event with a score of 307.

In the girls’ par-75 match, Maddi Anderton of Post Falls shot a 91, just shooting her way one shot lower than Kellogg’s Kat Rauehorst. Kellogg’s girls won the team title with a 387.

ST. MARIES — Kiefer Gibson hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score Bryant Asbury with the winning run as the Lumberjacks scored three runs in the seventh to beat the Wildcats at City Park.

“It was a really good game,” St. Maries coach Craig Tefft said. “Both teams played really well. Kellogg played well and (Wildcat pitcher Logan) Silva pitched really well and threw his curveball really well. We were just finally able to get to him in the seventh inning.”

Drake Lounsbury went 4 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI for St. Maries (3-6), which is off until hosting Orofino on April 23.
