NIC GOLF: Miller captures medalist honors at NWAC tourney

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Nicole Miller captured medalist honors with rounds of 83 and 80 to lead the North Idaho College women’s golf team to a second-place finish at a Northwest Athletic Conference match at Twin Lakes Golf Club, held Sunday and Monday.

Amalia Negrette tied for seventh for NIC.

On the men’s side, Braydon Swapp shot 76-70, good for a tie for ninth, and the team finished in sixth place in the 10-team tournament.
