Autism walk raised $20,400

Melanie Collins estimates about 700 people participated in Saturday’s Walk for Autism Awareness in downtown Coeur d’Alene.

Families enjoyed blue skies and sunshine as they took the half-mile stroll through McEuen Park.

The event raised $20,400.

All proceeds benefit the Panhandle Autism Society and will be used to benefit families in North Idaho affected by autism.
