ID-A-KID program Saturday in Cd'A

| April 8, 2016 9:00 PM

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Section will be participating in this year’s Panhandle Health Autism Walk Saturday at McEuen Park in Coeur d’Alene.

Between 10 a.m. and noon, sheriff’s office personnel will be offering the agency’s ID-A-KID program. They will fingerprint and photograph children and give all the information to the parent for safe-keeping. No information will be retained by the sheriff’s office.

The photographs, fingerprints and other identifying information can be a valuable tool for law enforcement if the child is ever missing.

This service is provided free of charge by the KCSO.
