Mary A. Siegel, 67

| April 6, 2016 9:00 PM

Mary A. Siegel, 67, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016, at Pacifica Senior Living. She was born in Mena, Ark., the oldest of four children.

She moved to Post Falls, Idaho, when she was 3 and graduated from Post Falls High School as did her husband, daughter and grandchildren. She was a stay-at-home mom until her daughter went to high school and then she started working as a home health care worker for about 10 years when she had to retire due to health issues.

She loved to cook, sew, quilt, read, knit and crochet. She was a wonderful mother, wife, friend and grandmother. You could always count on her if you needed anything — she would give you the shirt off her back if she thought it would help.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henryetta and Ed Ford. She will always be remembered for her downright ornery attitude, loving spirit, biggest heart and open arms. She is survived by her husband, Ed Siegel; daughter Mistie Siegel-Cooper; grandchildren Charleen Cooper, Austin Cooper, Mari Bennett and Shyla Bennett; also by her sister, Vickey Mattern; and her brothers, Larry Ford and Randy Ford.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. Please visit Mary’s online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
