Kasey Coryell Trueman, 28

A resident of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, formerly from Colville, Wash., passed away Monday, March 28, 2016. The son of Steve Trueman and the late Sally Lewis. Kasey was born in Everett, Wash., on Sept. 13, 1987. Kasey was raised in Spokane and Colville. He graduated from Colville high school in 2006.

Growing up Kasey’s main loves were baseball, snowboarding and any outdoor activities. Later on he found great pleasure in fishing, golfing, riding his razor and hanging out with friends. In life he made countless friends that he considered family. He brought a smile to everyone he was around. His quick wit and huge sense of humor was exceptional. Everyone he has ever met will look back fondly on all of his shenanigans. Kasey was an electrician and loved what he did, it will be a long time before the world will gain another person who would work half as hard or love as much as Kasey.

Kasey was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Lewis and his uncle, Larry Trueman. Kasey is survived by his father, Steven Trueman; his brother and sister-in-law Josh and Jamie Trueman; his niece, Riley Jean Trueman; his nephew, Mason Richard Trueman; his uncle, David Lewis; his uncle, Jim Carlson; his aunt, Leanne Geary; his aunt, Cheryl Trueman; his grandparents, Dick and Marie Trueman, Carsten and Judy Lewis (Papa and Mimi), Carl and Judy Carlson (Grammy and Bompa); great-aunt and uncle Alice and Ron Maxfield; great-aunt Gail Carlson; great-aunt Pat Trueman; numerous amounts of loving cousins and his constant companion, Pepper (Eeyore).

A public viewing of Kasey will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene Chapel; followed by a remembrance of Kasey’s life to be held from 2-6 p.m. at Red Lion Templin’s Hotel in Post Falls, Idaho.
