PHOTO: Not an accurate reflection

I would like to take this time to let the Coeur d’Alene Press know that they have let my community, my colleagues, my students, my family and myself down by submitting the photo they chose in the article “Summer’s out for Teachers.” On the contrary to what the photo portrays, I am, but one, of the many faces in that crowd of teachers that is incredibly PROUD to say I work for the Coeur d’Alene School District. I was also one of the many teachers that laughed out loud numerous times while being actively engaged in a number of speeches from our board members.

I simply ask, why did you not choose from the plethora of those pictures captured? I feel this photo disrespects Mr. Handelman, and each of the educators in our community. It is you, Coeur d’Alene Press, who we trust to act as a bridge of communication within our community…and you let me (us) down.
