With much gratitude to North Star Retirement Community and Richard McLandress, M.D., and the staff of Family Medicine Cd’A, Helen M. Reasor, passed to her Heavenly Father’s arms on Oct. 24, 2015.

Helen was born Aug. 2, 1926, in Spokane, and graduated from Riverside High in Milan, Wash. She married her high school sweetheart, (Leland) Jay Reasor, on Sept. 5, 1943.

Helen worked as a secretary in the Army Depot in Spokane while Jay was overseas during World War II. Helen and Jay opened Shoshone Glass in Kellogg with their young family. They later relocated to the Coeur d’Alene area where Helen was a legal secretary for many years.

After retirement, Helen and Jay enjoyed traveling the world with Friendship Force. Many friends were made here and abroad. Helen and Jay were able to visit Germany, France, England, Italy, the Far East, Australia and New Zealand. She loved to make candy (especially peanut butter chocolates), etc. In previous years, she loved to sew and make crafts.
