| November 29, 2015 8:00 PM

Allen Ray Clark, 73, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away Nov. 23, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. Allen was born on Feb. 13, 1942, in Porterville, Calif., to Richard and Polly (Rogers) Clark.

Allen grew up on his grandfather’s cotton farm. He joined the Air Force directly from high school, where he was a radio operator and tracked the first Russian astronaut in space.

Allen enjoyed sports and was a huge Seattle Mariners and Seahawks fan. He loved the outdoors and working with his hands, as well as fishing, gardening, cooking and farming. He enjoyed country music, rodeos, horses — he was a cowboy at heart! Allen’s family meant everything to him and he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Allen is survived by his wife, Stacy; daughter Stephanie; son Rick; grandchildren Lucas, Lindsey and Hannah; great-granddaughter Haley; and his dog, Chuck.
