VETTING: Question its effectiveness
The former Idahoan (Dr. Taylor) who now lives in Seattle may have a different feeling someday if only one jihadist decides to take up residence in Seattle.
Exactly what is the interpretation of being “vetted?” Does a refugee who swears by Allah that they’re not a terrorist qualify?
A refugee who has been raised believing that Allah has decreed that all western civilization, especially the “Great Satan” must be destroyed is willing to tell welcoming countries anything and will even swear on the Koran that they’ll be good citizens.
How can you vet someone who has no records, birth, no established home, a job, etc., and who has been raised in a village hut, a tent and has been told since birth that women are not worth anything except being birthing machines and certainly not being allowed to be educated? That they have a duty to Allah to hate the “Great Satan” and blame it for all their problems, and do anything to infiltrate themselves by any means so they can fulfille their beliefs, including committing suicide?
Oh and by the way, how does your newly adopted state Washingtonians feel about this open arms policy? I doubt very many like it. I also wonder if Gov. Inslee might rue the day he opened the door to these people. Maybe in the future, say Sept. 11.
I do want to thank you for leaving the state of Idaho, Dr. Taylor, and wish you and your family a long life.
