Mullan could

be without

boys basketball in 2015-16

Mullan High School, citing a lack of players at the high school level, may be forced to cancel its 2015-16 season, according to athletic director Stetson Spooner.

Mullan has a proposal to the Idaho High School Activites Association to allow eight grade players to dress with the varsity team in order to have enough players to play. A decision will be made by Dec. 8.

The team has already forfeited three North Star League games scheduled before the holiday break begins on Dec. 18, and depending on the outcome of the IHSAA vote, may be forced to cancel its season.

Mullan was forced to cancel its football season in the fall due to low numbers.
