ISLAMISTS: At least they're committed

America has largely become a nation without a moral code - except for the worship of “me.” If it feels good, do it; the selfie plague; social media informing the entire world of what you had for breakfast; non-stop cell phones because you have so much to say that is more important than safe driving/walking; atheism; abortion; etc.

That’s a major reason we can’t understand those Islamists running wild throughout the world. They actually believe in something bigger than “me” and are willing to sacrifice for it. The media even insists on calling them “Americans,” those who leave this country to join in the atrocities in the Middle East — or here. The Islamists’ first loyalty is to their religion; second is their tribe; maybe third is some country or other. That’s a foreign concept to Americans who aren’t troubled with commitment. It’s far easier to stand for nothing — ‘course then you fall for anything.
