Jeffrey 'Jeff' P. Hershey, 55

Jeffrey (Jeff) P. Hershey was born to Carroll & Ernestine Hershey on December 4, 1959 in Seattle, Washington. Jeff passed away on May 6, 2015 at the age of 55 in Athol, Idaho.

Jeff was preceded in death by his daughter Krissy Hershey in March of 2001, and his father Carroll Hershey Sr. in March of 1999.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife Donna of 32 years, his son Jeffrey J. Hershey and his mother Ernestine Hershey.

Jeff will forever be lovingly remembered by his wife, soul mate and best friend Donna; son Jeffrey who always called him "Pa:" mother Ernestine Hershey; sister Crystal Hennessy; sister Cynthia Myrie; brother Carroll Hershey Jr; nephew Joseph Hennessy, niece Rebecca Myrie, as well as an uncle, aunts and numerous cousins.

Jeff and Donna were married on January 15, 1983.

Jeff's greatest joys in life were always centered around his family and his love of the great outdoors. His true passion was his family. Jeff would have moved mountains for his wife and children. He always encouraged and supported his daughter in her love of horses and riding. He was so proud of his son's accomplishment in completing college and becoming a medical provider.

He enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping and boating. Jeff was such a true huntsman who was so avid about the sport he became an expert at reloading his own shells for most of his guns.

He was always working on at least one project - (usually 2 or 3) around the house with his wife Donna. Together and side by side they built their home from the ground up. This was huge project and is a perfect example of how much they loved doing things together.

Jeff will truly be greatly missed by all of his family and friends who love him dearly.

Private services were held at Yates Funeral Home on May 16, 2015. Yates funeral homes has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
