'Friends of the Earth' need reality check on predators

A recent opinion piece by Kevin Brown in the Cd'A Press developed the idea of a pristine natural environment where the natural predators and the natural prey would be much better off without man altering the scheme. He then revealed the source of the current dilemma and conspiracy against the natural world by disclosing freely available information that the Idaho Department of Fish and Game was being paid off by those who would keep that natural world at bay. He followed the money, as in sales of licenses and no doubt bribes to our legislative class. This last is something where his organizations are in fact leading the way.

Earth to Brown, the natural world was unalterably changed when the dominant predator on the planet emerged about three million years ago. There has not been a 'natural world' since and there never will be again. The current habitat is most definitely rigged in favor of that dominant predator, man and his pleasures. It is an engineered ecosystem that differs from the free form predations of the 19th century and a good deal of the 20th into a balance that favors man and his sporting pursuits.

Now you may argue that you do not want man hunting and find it repellent, and don't want him out in the wilds really at all, but that is simply your nihilism and for many in your crowd, the clear inclinations to sociopathic behavior coming out. In other words, it cuts both ways. Like you I am not fond of many of the habits of mankind - and for the most part find man is dirty, thoughtless, lazy and self-serving. Much like a grizzly with a bathroom. Now because of that Brown and his crowd would like to take us back to an era before the planet had cooled.

Brown then goes on to say that he and the self appointed Friends of the Earth are going to put the hard scrutiny this unnatural ecosystem has evolved into a court of law at which presumably they will argue that man is a pox on the countryside and anything he does must be curtailed or eliminated. Well at some point the court is going to have to know if Brown and his friends are on the side of the elk or the wolf, because you really can't have it both ways and if your argument is that it should all play out then where does that agenda end?

Why not include the elimination of the domestication of dogs, farm animals and perhaps...feminists? Will you next be advocating for the virus and proto-bacterial plagues? Your success in resurrecting malaria and dengue fever across the world is well documented. How friendly can you make it, Mr. Friend of the Earth?

Following the money of these litigious groups is to follow into a labyrinth of very large leftist donors and political activists and not the nickels and dimes of schoolchildren. They masquerade their repulsion of man into a Gaia-ism, or more simply, a pagan regard for Earth as a kind of spiritual entity that must be surrendered to or lightning and thunder will result. It is a thoroughly discredited notion in science. What in fact happens is that millions die when this sort of nihilistic philosophy/paganism takes root.

Meanwhile, I haven't seen Earth on the social media hankering for friends nor have I seen any signs that it (She?) has appointed Brown or his groups to be the designated friend-finders either. As for their efforts at human population control, well, do show us the way.
