ADLER: Armed with misinformation

David Adler’s attack on the Second Amendment was pretty much what I expected. His talk was merely the anti-gun crowd’s typical “the second amendment doesn’t really mean what it says” argument.

Perhaps next week The Friends of the Library can sponsor someone who explains to us why the First Amendment (freedom of speech and religion) doesn’t really mean what it says.

Maybe David Adler could be invited back soon to explain to us why we are required to have a license to exercise our Second Amendment rights but not our First Amendment rights — or maybe that’s his next step toward totalitarianism.
