James Edward Beavers, 85

James Edward Beavers, 85, was a father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and dear friend to many. He was born March 24, 1930, and passed away Saturday morning, May 16, 2015.

Jim left behind a lifetime of memories and life lessons that will never be forgotten. As we say goodbye in our own way, try to remember all the moments that were spent with him, for he was one of these men that always seemed to put a smile on your face. His stories about the adventures he had inspired all of us.

Although his family is scattered across the country, Jim always tried to include everyone in his visits. Whether you lived in the Dakotas, California, Texas, Oregon or Idaho - no one was out of his reach.

If anyone were to ask me how Jim lived his life, I would have to reply by saying, "With honor, integrity and hard work."

Myself, I intend to write my sorrows in sand and my blessings in stone.

The family will plan a memorial at a later date.
