VETS: Standing O for volunteers

I would like to personally thank all the wonderful people who volunteered last Saturday at the Stand Down. Your smiles and compassion was so very much appreciated by the veterans and their families.

The majority of the volunteers attended our pre-event meeting on Thursday evening so when you arrived bright and early Saturday morning you knew exactly what you would be doing and were ready to serve our veteran community. This helped the event run smoothly and was so appreciated.

Again, I want to thank all of you and hope your experience was such that you will want to help again in future years.
