MALCOLM: Keen on construction

Dan Malcolm deserves your vote.

Dan has been a very active member of our commission. He understands construction and management issues and it has been very good working with him. When he is out of town, he is always in communication with us and the office staff. He studies the issues before meetings and asks the hard questions before voting on issues. Please join me in voting for Dan Malcolm on May 19. He has earned it because of his work ethic. Our staff deserves to have a good honest hard-working commissioner on their side.

I would like to add that the “huge” raise we three commissioners are accused of giving ourselves is actually not true. We averaged previous years commissioners’ compensations and then changed our payment system to be a monthly salary to make accounting and budgeting more efficient and the rate was actually lower than the previous years’ average.
