FILLIOS: For Eastside Highway

This letter is in support of the re-election of Chris Fillios for Eastside Highway District Commissioner. I have known Chris for more than nine years and know him to be a man of integrity. He is meticulous in his fact gathering, and thus always makes decisions fully informed. This quality has helped him to control spending while maintaining 238 miles of roadway as well as 20 bridges, and helped to keep the ad valorem taxes the lowest of the four Kootenai County Highway Districts.

During his tenure, he initiated the district website, which allows interested citizens to easily stay informed. He always makes himself available to the public. He is a truly dedicated public servant.

An Eastside Highway District Commissioner position is not a well-known elected seat, but it is a position that touches each of us daily and is, thus, truly important. Chris Fillios has done a great job as a commissioner and will, no doubt, continue to do so.
