COLUMN: Swing, and a miss

I want to thank Norm Gissell for his recent My Turn column. His diatribe on Sharia law seeping into Idaho legislation veers off to a discussion on “if a religious person in a court of law” wins a lawsuit based on a religious issue, then cites a $700,000 civil rights award against a golfing country club about women’s tee times. Since Norm always makes sense and stays on point we can only conclude this proves what many of my friends with golf clubs have told me all along — golf IS a religion.
