Ex-NIC guard Sarbaugh to play at Idaho
MOSCOW - Chris Sarbaugh, the 2011 MVP of the Washington state 4A tournament while playing for Gonzaga Prep, will be joining the Idaho Vandals for his final season of collegiate basketball.
Sarbaugh, a 6-3 guard, comes to Idaho after playing the past two seasons - and earning his degree in business - at the University of San Diego. A 2011 graduate of Gonzaga Prep, he first walked on at Gonzaga before playing junior college basketball at North Idaho College in 2012-13, then heading to San Diego for two seasons.
"Chris is a dynamic player who has a great feel for the game of basketball," Idaho coach Don Verlin said. "He also has a knack for penetrating and making plays for his teammates."
