FRANK: Leaves lasting legacy

Frank Henderson leaves a wonderful Legacy of Public service and helping others. We first met Frank when he bought the Post Falls Tribune, and kept it going. He then went on to become mayor and was instrumental in bringing in the wastewater system to get the city growing with a large federal grant. That was only the beginning, and economic development started to bring in new businesses.

He then became county commissioner, and worked hard with recruitment and job growth. Next he became a legislator, earning the respect from both sides of the Legislature. I will always remember the last days of the 2012 Legislative session when he and George Eskridge (Dover) teamed up to secure funding for the feasibility study for a veterans’ home here in Post Falls. That got us to where we are now. Frank may be gone, he will be missed, but not forgotten!
