Alta Eileen Russell, 79

July 19, 1935 - March 24, 2015

Alta Eileen Russell passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2015, with loved ones by her side.

Eileen was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and lived there until 1956 when she moved to Ridgecrest, Calif., where she lived for 18 years until returning back to Coeur d'Alene. She was employed by North Idaho College for 20 years.

When not working or raising her children, Eileen enjoyed golfing, cooking, and reading. After retiring from North Idaho College, Eileen resided in Coeur d'Alene until eight years ago when she relocated to the Seattle area to live closer to her children and grandchildren.

Eileen was a strong, kind woman and a loving mother. She worked hard to provide for her children, and to create a warm and comfortable home where all were welcomed. She touched many lives through her generosity, and is loved and mourned by many.

Eileen is survived by three children: Kelly Russell, Donna (Russell) Robinson and Michael Russell; their spouses Christopher Robinson and Robin (De Angelo) Russell; and eight grandchildren: Jayden Russell, Jordan Robinson, Zion Russell, Amani Robinson, Jalen Robinson, Jaya Robinson, Amelia Russell and Cailyn Russell.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Christian Faith Center in Federal Way, Wash.
